1. How Purchases Are Processed
S English ("we", "our") provides language-learning services through the senglish.net website and the S English iOS app. All paid purchases are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store at the time of writing. Apple is responsible for billing, taxes, and the collection of payment for these transactions. Purchase information you provide during checkout is handled by Apple under Apple's terms of service; we do not see or store your payment card details. If we add additional purchase channels in the future, we will update these Terms before any charges are made through them.
2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Sila Pro subscriptions purchased inside the iOS app are recurring and auto-renewing. By confirming your purchase you agree that: (a) payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation; (b) the subscription automatically renews for the same period and at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; (c) the renewal charge is processed within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period; (d) you can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew at any time after purchase in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; (e) any unused portion of a free trial period, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription; (f) the lifetime plan, where offered, is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew. Use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple's standard end-user license agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
3. Fee Changes
S English reserves the right to modify subscription fees at its discretion. We will provide reasonable prior notice of any fee changes before they take effect. Changes apply only to subsequent renewal periods — your current paid period is honored at the price you originally agreed to.
4. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by S English. To request a refund:
- Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com on any device signed in to your Apple ID.
- Select the relevant Sila Pro transaction and follow the on-screen flow.
- Apple decides eligibility under their refund policy and typically responds within 48 hours.
- If your refund is granted, your Sila Pro entitlement is removed within minutes of Apple notifying us.
- If you have a billing dispute Apple cannot resolve, contact us at support@senglish.net and we will help where possible.
6. Acceptable Use
When using S English, you agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the rights of others
- Not attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Not disrupt or interfere with the service
- Not transmit malware or harmful code
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, S English shall not be liable for any of the following damages arising from your use of the service:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Special damages
- Consequential damages
- Punitive damages
5. Content Ownership
All content provided through S English — including lessons, audio, scripts, and AI-generated feedback — is the property of S English or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the content for your own learning.
7. Termination
S English may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you breach these Terms or if continued access creates a security or legal risk. Where we terminate without your fault, any unused prepaid period is refunded on a pro-rata basis through Apple's refund process.
9. Changes to Terms
S English reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes that affect your subscription rights, we will provide at least 30 days notice through the app or by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Service Limits and Fair Use
We reserve the right to apply reasonable usage limits to prevent abuse, including (without limitation) rate limits on AI features. These limits are designed to be invisible to genuine, daily learners and will only affect automated or excessive usage patterns.
You agree not to use scripts, bots, or other automated tools to access the AI features. Non-human, automated, or programmatic use of the AI features is prohibited and may result in suspension.
